Clayton Armstrong is a Law Clerk at Llorente & Heckler, PA, where he assists with research, legislative monitoring for several municipalities, and supports the legal team on client matters.
Clayton is a second-year law student at the University of Miami. He is a Dean’s Merit Scholarship recipient and a member of the Black Law Students Association.
Prior to joining Llorente & Heckler PA, Clayton worked as a Judicial Intern for a Chief Judge in the Bankruptcy Court of the United States. His experience also extends to Washington D.C. where he worked with multiple elected officials in varying capacities. Most recently Clayton was a Research Analyst for the Council of the District of Columbia and conducted research relative to vital legislative policies and maintained ongoing oversight of all facets of specific programs and contracts.
Clayton holds a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Arizona. During his college career he received many accolades and honors, however his favorite was receiving an invitation directly from President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama to sit in the First Lady’s reserved seating area at the 2010 State of the Union Address. It will forever be a treasured memory.
